Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

Today's verse is from Isaiah 30: 18 and it is important remember as you go through life:
"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!"

The basic message here is that God loves you and wants to help you. I am sure that God would prefer it if we were all perfect, but no one is perfect. Everyone sins and everyone falls short of living exactly as God wants us to.
But you know what? God loves us anyway. God is forgiving and gracious to us all, no matter what we  have done. God is not up there just judging us and wanting to condemn us. God loves EVERYONE and wants to help EVERYONE, no matter who they are or where they are.
I am no better than anyone else, and God loves me just as God loves everyone else.
When life seems hard, you feel alone or you feel like you have done too many things wrong, just remember the God loves you and wants to help you. The best thing you can do is to turn towards God, ask God to help you and try to figure out how you can help God by living a good life.
I'm not perfect and you're not perfect, no one is. But God loves us, forgives us and wants to help us. Blessed are all who wait for him.
